From start to finish, our goal is to provide the best possible experience for our patients and their families.

Cases Where Oral Surgery May be Needed

  1. Impacted teeth

If a child’s teeth are growing in at an angle or are blocked by other teeth, they may need oral surgery to remove them. This is typically done when the child is between the ages of six and twelve.

  1. Cleft palate

Cleft palate is a birth defect that can cause problems with eating, speaking, and hearing. Children with cleft palate often need surgery to repair the defect.

  • Jaw deformities

If a child has a malformed jaw, they may need surgery to correct it. This can improve their appearance and help them to eat and speak more easily.

  • Tumors

Oral tumors can be benign or malignant. If a tumor is cancerous, it will need to be removed with surgery. Even if a tumor is not cancerous, it may still need to be removed if it is causing pain or interfering with eating or speaking.

  • Trauma

If a child sustains an injury to their face or mouth, they may need oral surgery to repair the damage. This could involve anything from simple stitches to complex reconstruction of the jaw or facial bones
